Who this course is for
This course is for students who cannot move to Madhubani and can attend live online classes for a year. The subject list matches the offline diploma, but instrument hours are shown on video instead of on campus. Entry is usually 10th pass.
What you will learn
Students learn to read records, work map exercises, and take a first measurement with a phone. Handling a chain or theodolite on campus is not included, unless the office later adds a campus week.
Live interactive sessions

Learn mobile-based land measurement
How training runs
Practical coverage is through live sessions, field videos, recordings, worked map/record exercises, and mobile measurement practice. Ask the office if a campus practical week can be added.
Classes are live, with recordings and field videos. Map and record exercises are submitted. Do not treat a phone reading as a finished measurement. If you want a campus practical week, ask the office at the start.
What is taught in this course
The subjects are the same family as the 1-year offline diploma. The difference is that field demonstration is by video and live class.
Live classes — survey basics
Chain, compass, and measurement method on screen, with worked examples. Recordings stay for revision.
Field video — instruments
Theodolite and plane table are shown being set up. You do not stand on campus and repeat that practice yourself.
Reading the record

Questions about this course
Will I operate a theodolite from home?
You will see how it is set up. Hands-on practice happens only if you take a campus practical week, which has to be asked for separately.
What if I miss a class?
Recordings are kept. Even so, asking questions in the live class is how this course is meant to work.
Why is the fee lower than the offline year?
Because the 400 campus practical hours and hostel are not in this course. The subject family is the same; the field is not yours on site.
Is this a government online diploma?
No. It is Bihar Amanat’s live online class.
